Accredited Hand Therapists
An Accredited Hand Therapist is an AHPRA* registered Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist who has undertaken advanced postgraduate upper-limb education and training to become an expert in hand and upper-limb rehabilitation.
An Accredited Hand Therapist has demonstrated an advanced level of competence in hand therapy and has been assessed by the Australian Hand Therapy Association Credentialing Council as qualified and competent to provide safe, evidence-based diagnosis, advice and treatment. Rebecca Kilty

Rebecca graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with Honours in 2002. She has worked as a hand therapist in the public and private sectors for 20 years gaining extensive experience with clients of all ages and with varied diagnoses.
Rebecca is an accredited hand therapist and a full member of the Australian Hand Therapy Association. She has held lecturing positions at the University of Sydney in the Upper Limb and Hand Rehabilitation unit, including lecturing on paediatric hand therapy. She is a published researcher in a clinical trial looking at reducing splinting time for children with finger fractures.

Sarah Baxter

Sarah graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) in 2000. She has extensive experience treating upper limb conditions, working in private practice, NSW Health, and the NHS in England. Sarah is an accredited hand therapist and a member of the Australian Hand Therapy Association.
She has spoken at a National Hand Therapy Conference on treating flexor tendon injuries and is a published researcher in a clinical trial looking at reducing splinting time for children with finger fractures. Sarah also provides guest lectures at the University of Sydney and is passionate about delivering the best care to her patients.

Tom Do

Tom graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2013 and since then he has worked in private practice fine tuning his skills in the realm of musculoskeletal and sporting related conditions. Tom has always held a special interest in hand therapy following a personal experience with one and has a greater appreciation for preventative measures and comprehensive screenings to reduce the impact of injury.
Tom is currently completing his accreditation with the AHTA. He is passionate about improving patient outcomes and eager to contribute his skills to better your health and wellbeing.
